IVECO BUS, one of Europe’s leading passenger transport manufacturers, is strengthening its presence in the Azerbaijani market with the signing of a non-binding agreement with its local partner Az-Tex Import for the supply of 600 Turbo DAILY 4x4 units.

The signing took place at the IVECO BUS stand at Busworld Türkiye in Istanbul, in the presence of Samir Ibadullayev, President Az-Tex Import and Sascha Kaehne, Head of AMEA Bus Commercial Operations for IVECO BUS. This new agreement reflects the quality and reliability of the vehicles already operating in Azerbaijan. In Baku, the manufacturer has played a key role in the modernization of the public transport network with the delivery of 151 CREALIS CNG, 151 URBANWAY CNG and 1 CITELIS CNG BRT in total 303 units buses.

The Turbo DAILY 4x4 minibuses covered by the agreement will be assembled by Naveco. In the configuration selected for this project, the Turbo DAILY 4x4 is equipped with a 127-hp diesel engine and features a permanent four-wheel-drive system, making the vehicle a true “go-anywhere” workhorse. Together with the 7-leaf-spring rear suspension, these features are key advantages that are particularly valuable in intensive operations or on demanding routes. The Turbo DAILY 4x4 can accommodate 9 passengers and the driver.

Designed to meet the diverse needs of passenger transport professionals, the Turbo DAILY 4x4 is ideal for a wide range of missions, from passenger transport between rural areas and city centres to operations in challenging terrain conditions. Its robustness, ride comfort and operating efficiency make it an ideal choice for operators seeking a vehicle that combines adaptability with a high level of service quality.

Sascha Kaehne, IVECO BUS AMEA Bus Commercial Operations, said: “This agreement illustrates our ambition to continue expanding IVECO BUS in Azerbaijan with passenger transport solutions capable of meeting local operating realities.
