IVECO BUS supports major refurbishment programme in Azerbaijan to optimise public transport fleet resources

The refurbishment of IVECO BUS vehicles operated by XALİQ FAİQOĞLU is progressing successfully in Azerbaijan. As part of Ministry of Transport initiative to optimise the use of existing public transport resources, the programme is significantly extending the service life of the vehicles while maintaining their performance, safety and operational reliability.
The refurbishment operations are carried out at the Az-Tex-Import authorised service centre by trained and certified technicians, ensuring that the vehicles continue to deliver high levels of performance, reliability and operational value over time. A 5-year service and maintenance agreement has been signed between Az-Tex-Import and Xaliq Faiqoğlu.
Through this project, IVECO BUS reaffirms its vision of sustainable mobility across the entire vehicle lifecycle. By combining technical expertise, a strong local presence and high quality standards, the manufacturer continues to support the long-term performance and reliability of public transport networks as a trusted partner.
This collaboration is helping to sustainably improve public transport in Azerbaijan by providing cost-effective, reliable and responsible solutions for extending the life of the existing fleet.
Speaking on behalf of XALİQ FAİQOĞLU, Mr Faig SEYIDOV thanked the representatives of
IVECO BUS and Az-Tex-Import for their support. He said the company was pleased to see
IVECO BUS vehicles back into public service, highlighting their recognised design quality and strong presence in Azerbaijan. Mr SEYIDOV also expressed his pride in taking part in this major project, which has received strong support from the Ministry of Transport.
